RINER was selected as the materials testing and inspection provider for this mixed-use, multifamily building which is the first phase in the Buffalo Heights district being developed by Midway.
This seven-story, 742,000-square-foot building, located at the intersection of Washington Avenue and South Heights Boulevard, boasts a first of its kind 96,000-square-foot HEB Urban prototype store located on the ground floor. The second floor consists of 111,000 square feet of parking for HEB customers. The 122,000-square-foot, cast-in-place, third floor podium slab is the first floor for the 36,000-square-foot office building, 232-unit multi-family building and a 605-space, five-story, precast parking garage.
RINER’s testing and inspection scope included earthwork, spread footing foundations, cast in place concrete, post tension reinforcing, structural steel and masonry.
