August 24, 2023 – RINER, a UES company, is excited to have been selected to provide the geotechnical and construction materials testing engineering services for the new 120-acre Gulf Coast Vehicle Terminal in Freeport for the Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA). The $114 million Port Freeport facility, by developer KDC Real Estate Development & Investments, has an expected completion in early 2024, and will consolidate current VWGoA port operations from Houston and Midlothian, Texas.
