White Oak Bayou

RINER is providing construction materials engineering services for flood repairs to a 7.8-mile segment of White Oak Bayou identified as “Discreet Segment 105” which spans from FM 1960 to Hollister Street. This project is being administered by the Harris County Flood Control District under a Federal/Local partnership with the US Army Corps of Engineers and, when complete, will serve to substantially reduce flooding risks along White Oak Bayou.

RINER’s earthwork testing and inspection scope includes backfill for drainage piping up to 96-inches in diameter, box culverts up to 8’x7′, and paving and sidewalk subgrade materials. Concrete testing and inspection scope for channel lining, pavement and sidewalks totaling 760,000 SF. Testing and inspection scope also includes compressive strength testing for soil nail wall grout and cement stabilized sand.
